Franziska Weise completed her law studies and first state examination in Berlin, Germany where she also did her two year internship followed by the second state examination. Among other assignments, she worked for three years in the legal department of the Research Center Karlsruhe GmbH, one of the biggest science and engineering research institutions in Europe; as a member of the Hermann von Helmholtz-Association of National Research Centers, Germany. There she dealt with the negotiation and drafting of collaboration agreements at the national and international levels and with other legal issues in the field of technology transfer.

As a legal counselor, Franziska handles legal issues related to University of Zurich projects.


Since 1.9.2019 she is member of the Executive Board.
