Patrick Sticher studied biotechnology at the ETH Zürich, and completed his PhD studies in the field of environmental microbiology at the EAWAG Dübendorf. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry in quality management and business development for six years. As Manager at International Business Development for Siegfried Generics, he was responsible for the licensing-out of generic drug products to business customers in Northern Europe.

Between 2003 and 2010, he was the Scientific Officer of the National Center of Competence (NCCR) Structural Biology where his duties included public relations, technology transfer, coordination of training events and general management duties. During this time, Patrick took advanced trainings in business administration and IP law.

He is in charge of research collaboration agreements with outside partners, IP management and the licensing of inventions in the field of life sciences. He is also the contact person for any questions related to trade marks.
